Botox® and Dysport® are safe, effective and quick options for looking younger without surgery. These therapeutic agents work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, allowing the skin to smooth out and prevent the worsening of wrinkles over time. Simple, non-surgical treatments, provide excellent results with little to no downtime. At Embody Plastic Surgery + Spa, a session usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes and typically provides three to four months of anti-aging benefits.

Results & Recovery

Botox® and Dysport® primarily address lines in the skin known as “dynamic wrinkles,” which includes crow’s feet lines around the eyes and wrinkles that are visible while frowning, laughing or raising the eyebrows. Results include a reduction in wrinkles and lines, smoother skin and a more youthful, rested and rejuvenated appearance. Clients usually see full results within 3 to 14 days following treatment. Results typically last between three to four months, but depend upon the individual. Follow-up treatment or maintenance can provide longer-lasting results.

  • The best way to determine if you are a good candidate is to schedule a free consultation.

  • The injection needle is very small, which normally avoids any discomfort. There is a mild pinching sensation that lasts only a short time, and you can return to most activities with few interruptions.

  • Results gradually wear off and last three to four months. Repeat treatments may result in longer-lasting effects.

  • During your free consultation, we will help you determine your ideal course of treatment based on your unique facial contours and goals.

  • Prior to your session, we will apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. Depending upon your specific treatment plan, our skilled injectors may take up to 45 minutes to carefully administer your dermal fillers.

  • Dermal fillers are well tolerated and enjoyed by millions of women and men every year. As with any injection, the most common side effects are redness, swelling, and bruising, but these side effects subside quickly on their own. We will take every precaution to reduce side effects, including icing your treatment areas before and after treatment to curb swelling and bruising.
