Labiaplasty

What is a labiaplasty?

You deserve to feel comfortable and confident with your body, which can be difficult to do when you are unhappy with size or shape of your labia. Large, or asymmetrical labial skin is a common concern among women that can cause physical discomfort and self-esteem issues. Intimate areas require delicate treatment, and Dr. Kevin Bridge is trained and experienced in labiaplasty, also known as a labia reduction, to help reduce discomfort, boost confidence and improve your quality of life.

What are the benefits?

  • Improve the appearance of the labia

  • Reduce the size of enlarged labia

  • Repair damage due to childbirth or aging

  • Restore comfort and confidence

Who is a candidate?

If enlarged or misshapen labia make physical or intimate activity uncomfortable, or if you’re unhappy with the appearance of your labia, a labiaplasty may be for you.

Recovery Timeline

Like any surgery, downtime is required. We recommend avoiding physical activity and taking time off from work for one to two weeks following a labiaplasty. Patients can begin moderate exercise approximately four weeks after surgery and resume intimate activity six weeks after surgery.
