  • The Q-Switched Yag/KTP Laser switches between the Yag laser, which operates at 532 nanometers, and the KTP laser, which operates at 1064 nanometers, to target the pigment in your tattoo. Once the laser energy contacts the pigment, it divides the ink particles into tiny fragments. Your immune system then naturally flushes these small fragments from your body and restores the treated area to its natural skin color. The Q-Switched Laser can fully remove black and most colored ink tattoos with a series of treatments.

  • The number of treatments you need will depend on the depth, size and color of your tattoo(s). Fine line tattoos with black ink respond best to tattoo removal, while colorful ink tattoos can take multiple treatments to be fully removed. Nevertheless, the Q-Switched Yag/KTP Laser can safely and effectively target and destroy both types of ink.
